Critical Love for “Bob”

I’m thrilled to share that the folks at Times Square Central came to see our showcase production of Who Mourns for Bob the Goon? at Dixon Place, and they loved it (and rather liked me as well)!  You can read the full review here.

An excerpt:  “Playwright, Joshua Young, skillfully masters the psyches of his characters so that we may look voyeuristically at the kind of every day life that precedes [sic] war. Young manages to find light and humor and depth and reality. Beautifully directed by Lucia Bellini, this play is well worth seeing.”

Given that the purpose of the showcase was to help get this new work to to the public and drum up interest in the show, we couldn’t be happier that it’s now being noticed critically as well.  Keep your eyes on www.WhoMournsForBobTheGoon.com and my site for more news on the future of this piece!
